Verkist Cosmic (M FD DB)
Size: M Miniature
Form: FD Formal Decorative
Color: DB Dark Blend
Growers Notes
Color: It’s a party. Seriously, if you don’t like to be happy, don’t get this one. Its fun-fetti flowers made me smile every time. If you’ve grown Caitlyn’s Joy, it can be compared to that, but has yellow deep in each of the petals. The center always hovered near open, but the petals surrounding it give off a hint of purple, making it forgivable.
Growth habit: 5’ & 6’ tall (we grew it in two places), shooting its flowers far above the foliage.
Blooming habit: Medium bloomer with ridiculous stems, perfect for cutting. The miniature blooms stayed on the large end at 3-3 1/2”
Features: Great flower for cuts as well as one to brighten up the garden. I do have to say that my favorite use of it all season was adding it to a jewel toned color palette for memorial flowers for my sister’s MIL.
